ipVA is pleased to welcome Jordan S Hatcher, ipVA's Head of Research, as he also joins ipVA as a consultant in copyright, international IP, and open licensing -- particularly in open source software. His consulting work focuses on copyright and trademark issues, open innovation, open content, free and open source software (FOSS), and anything where digital technology and the law meet.  Jordan has been working in open licensing for a number of years in the software, content, and data spaces.

Jordan has an LLM in Innovation Technology and the Law with distinction from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, a JD with honors in law from the University of Texas, and graduated cum laude in Radio, Television & Film at the University of North Texas.
