ipVA has developed its Portfolio Rightsizing™ product in response to two specific market needs.
For clients with mature patent portfolios our rightsizing product and methodology aims to bring the portfolio into line with the business and its products.
For early stage clients with growing portfolios the challenge is to obtain the best possible portfolio at an optimum price – essentially a portfolio that performs as it should and justifies the return on the investment into patents in the first place.
In both cases, our light review product focuses on gaining transparency of attorney and official fees, and typically saves 10-15% of annual cost against the existing baseline. Our full review adds reviews of the business, its products, markets, and competitors and typically saves more than 30% of annual cost against the existing baseline. We accomplish our reductions without impacting on the efficacy of the portfolio.
