ipVA welcomes Russell Vaught to the team as a digital media and IP consultant
ipVA is pleased to welcome Russell Vaught to the team as an IP strategy consultant focussing on IP and content matters for digital media, including online, mobile and TV.
Russell and has a long history of successful innovation in IP-based media and entertainment businesses. As a director of pioneering digital music distributor DX3, he steered the company from launch to a £29m trade sale, via negotiating groundbreaking deals with EMI, PRS For Music and global marketing contracts for artists including Britney Spears and Tom Jones. Russell is a non-practising barrister (Gray’s Inn) and alumnus of Manchester Business School. He has presented, trained, spoken and moderated debates on media, entertainment and digital topics at numerous professional seminars and conferences in the UK, Europe and the US and on broadcast media including MTV and BBC Newsnight.
