Chris is a consultant with ipVA and a leading IP strategist. He has a speciality in international patents across a range of complex technologies and jurisdictions, including in the UK, Europe, the United States, Japan, and China.

Chris's IP experience in a major UK law firm includes patenting work for over 14 years for a major oilfield services company, in-depth patenting for a leading mobile telecoms infrastructure provider, and acting for a major multinational consumer electronics corporation. He also was involved for over ten years with a UK-based High Performance Computing (HPC) microprocessor technology firm from its first patent filing through to over one hundred patents and applications. His expertise isn't limited to patents however, and through these diverse experiences Chris has learnt about the needs of growing businesses and how IP can build value.
